Timeline of My Journey

You can't compete against someone who's just here to have fun.

2026

  • The whole first quarter of 2026 moved extremely fast, because I fully adopted a multi-agent development workflow with shared memory. By running work in parallel, I was able to move six or more tasks at the same time, which created room for personal projects and external opportunities alongside my main work. Over time, I shifted toward fewer agents with stronger skills, which proved to be even more effective. Every step forward in this area keeps shortening delivery time and raising the quality of the work I ship.
  • In February, I became an active contributor to the open source project OpenClaw, where I worked mainly on the Zalo plugin.
  • At the beginning of 2026, I moved to Vietnam for three months. I had always wanted to experience working remotely from my second home, and I am genuinely grateful that the team supported me in doing so. Changing my entire environment gave me a fresh perspective, a strong sense of calm, and at the same time helped me work with more focus and efficiency.

2025

  • In November, thanks to the team's approach, I was able to go deeper into AI and start using it not only as a development assistant, but also as a way to explore multi-agent workflows, architecture, and new ways of thinking about software delivery.
  • In September, I decided to join the highly experienced Sklinet team as a full-stack developer, recognizing that my self-taught learning pace was slowing and this move was the next step forward.
  • Throughout the summer, I continued to grow as a developer by pushing several client and personal projects forward, exploring new stacks and sharpening my full stack workflow.
  • I designed and launched a new restaurant website thelinh.cz using Next.js and Sanity CMS, while consulting on their future growth roadmap and digital opportunities.
  • Successfully completed the Practical Computer Vision with PyTorch course, focusing on hands-on deep learning for image analysis using PyTorch.
  • In the second quarter of 2025, I released the MVP version of the Lootea Loyalty App for both IOS and Android. The application, built with TypeScript and React Native Expo, provides users with a modern interface for ordering, managing favorite items, and accessing the loyalty program.
  • Achieved the Foundational C# with Microsoft certification from freeCodeCamp.

2024

  • At the end of the year, I started a hobby project for a friend, aiming to create a trip planning app. Currently, I'm developing a web application using Next.js with Python and PostgreSQL.
  • For the first time, I published my component Rocket Cursor Component written in TypeScript.
  • I created a personal website TomasDinh.cz, where I showcase my work and projects.
  • I helped a friend create a website for her amazing vegan restaurant Linh's Vegan Corner.
  • As a freelancer, I assisted Webfusion with a header component in JavaScript featuring SVG animations.
  • I continue to update and improve the ERP system for Lootea, which tracks real-time sales, documentation, employee shifts, integrates AI/OCR for invoice reading, and more.

2023

  • In June, I released my first mobile app Lootea Loyalty App for Lootea customers, developed in React Native Expo and connected to Google Firebase.
  • In October, I started writing the ERP system for Lootea, aiming to create a comprehensive solution capable of real-time revenue tracking, inventory management, accounting, and integration with external POS systems.
  • I enrolled in 42Prague and successfully completed the Piscine in September as one of the top students.
  • At the start of the year, I began exploring mobile development. Initially, I tried SwiftUI but ultimately decided to use React Native to support both Android and iOS devices.

2022

  • In 2022, I was fully focused on business and growing Lootea, but in the evenings I gradually started making time to learn programming and build the foundations I would later continue to grow from.

2021

  • At the end of the year, my brother and I opened the first Lootea branch. We needed a website, but the offers we received were too expensive, so I decided to learn HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create the first version of Lootea.cz.
  • Thanks to the YouTube channel David Šetek Hack Your Future, I gradually learned the basics of web development, including JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and other technologies.
